Spinal Injuries

In this section, we discuss the anatomy of the spine and injuries to the spinal nerve roots, bony vertebral column, intervertebral discs and soft tissue injuries to the neck and back.

It should be noted that spinal cord injuries such as quadriplegia and paraplegia are not currently assessed and these injuries are not discussed, however because of its critical functionality, the anatomy of the spinal cord is briefly discussed.
